Our first Senior Spotlight: Max Sell. Max goes above and beyond for the Senior Center every week. He comes in to help with coffee, set up & tear down tables, and anything else that we could need. We appreciate him so much!
Karen is a board member of HCCOA. She is always willing to help with Bingo each week as we may need her, and always offering to help where she may be needed. Karen also helps each month at the Senior movie day. Thank you for all you do!
We would like to thank Chris Tester for being such a big help here at the Senior Center. Chris is a dedicated helper each month with our newsletters, making sure they are done correct & ready for the mail. Chris also helps with setting up Bingo each week, setting up tables if they’re needed, and getting prizes put in order. She is a huge help keeping things straight and orderly, and we appreciate all she does to help us.
We would like to thank Bob for all of his help, participation, & donations. Bob is always here to help with table set up, table tear downs, and so much more. He sticks around to help until the job is done. Thank you for all you do for the center.

Amber is a very community oriented person. She shared with us that the favorite part of her transportation service is being able to form the relationships with her riders and seeing their smiles when they see her pulling up. “It’s a rewarding job, and one I know I can make a difference in peoples everyday life, and I’m a firm believer in the saying, in a world full of evil, be the good, says Shull.”
Family is very important to Amber, and she is grateful for her job as it gives her time to spend with her family as some jobs don’t leave much time for that.
Fellow staff members say Amber has a big heart, and we are happy to have her as one of our dedicated drivers.
J.W. Has been with HAT for 22 years. He is a reliable & caring driver. J.W. was hired in by Bill Fetrow, Holly Saunders, & Sandy Allen. “They really gave me a chance & helped get me started, filled
me with encouragement, & always made me feel welcome, & I love that they worked with me when my father passed away, giving me time to take care of my mother, says J.W.”
Waymire stated that the best part of his job, is he always treats his passengers as if they were his own family.
We are blessed to have J.W. as a driver, and continue to spread his laughter he brings to everyone around him.
